If you arrive early, please stay in your car until the parking lot opens and keep intersections clear
You are welcome to take photos and walk freely throughout
the distillery area. The map below highlights the recommended photo locations.
All guests begin their visit at the Freehouse Welcome Center, where IDs are checked and wristbands are issued before entering the Visitor Center and Retail Store.
All guests tasting or purchasing alcoholic products must present a valid ID at check-in.
Arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled tour
If you plan to shop beforehand, arrive 45-60 minutes early
Have your reservation confirmation printed or on your phone for faster check-in
Due to high demand, morning line may form early, often starting at 8:00 a.m. (10:30 a.m. Sunday)
*Buffalo Trace Distillery is closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
