Eagle Rare Aged 10 Years is a highly awarded expression aged for a full decade to achieve remarkable depth and balance. Crafted in small batches, it reflects patience, tradition and the artistry of American whiskey-making.
The nose is complex, with aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak.
The taste is bold, dry and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa.
The finish is dry and lingering.
Put ice to a smaller tin. Add the egg white and shake.
Strain liquid into a small tin to separate from ice.
Discard ice. Put tins back together for a dry shake.
Pop open, strain into a coupe glass. Egg white foam will come to top of the glass and rise.
Add bitters, then swirl.
