George T. Stagg Gallery and Single Oak Room

Built in 1881, the George T. Stagg Gallery was originally constructed as Whiskey Warehouse A and housed barrels of aging whiskey for several decades. As the Distillery grew, the building served as a warehouse for bottling supplies and a shipping warehouse. Today, it serves as our Visitor's Center, gallery and gift shop.

The George T. Stagg Gallery, located on the upper level of the Visitor Center's/Gift Shop, invites your guests to explore the history of the company and the history of Kentucky. Archival photos document the company’s milestones and events. Built-in display cases house unique historical artifacts. The exposed brick walls, beamed ceiling, original hardwood floors and studio lighting give an avant-garde feeling to this historic building. Both the George T. Stagg Gallery and The Single Oak Room, located at the rear of the Gallery, are available for corporate and leisure rentals.  The space is perfect for your cocktail reception or seated dinner and ideal for small- to medium-sized groups. Your guests will have plenty to look at as they enjoy this one-of-a-kind space.
